About Us

Talisman Security Seals have been manufacturing and supplying tamper evident security seals since 1974, and are now one of the few companies still manufacturing seals in the United Kingdom.

What We Do

We offer an extensive range of clinical waste and tamper evident security seals, which are available as a standard product, usually printed with a sequential serial number. If required, most of our range can be customised to suit specific corporate requirements.

In addition to our extensive range of tamper evident security seals, we also have the capability to develop new products from initial concept through to final production through our precision injection moulding division – Talisman Plastics.

Stock Holding/Warehouse

Talisman Plastics are flexible with respect to our customers’ packaging requirements, the customer is given a preference to use cardboard or implement returnable packaging options. Pallets are prepared by our despatch team in a secure and robust manner before shipment. Best practices are followed to maintain the integrity of the packaging, as minimum labelling is applied to all deliveries, containing the required customer information. Documentation such as delivery notes, barcoding, supplier name, part number, delivery quantity and dates are provided in a clear and legible manner. Where applicable, Talisman Plastics will provide Certificates of Conformity for goods supplied. The level of traceability required is agreed upon with the customer prior to any deliveries being completed.

Regular shipments are carried out inside and outside of the UK, using the common shipping terms, depending on the customer and their requirements. An investment of £500,000 in 2013 saw Talisman increase the size of their warehouse to enable better material and product storage. Well-organised stock control that links into our Sage ERP system allows us to run a faster, smarter more connected business linking manufacturing, supply chain and business intelligence together for greater overall performance.

NHS Supplier

Talisman have been manufacturing seals as an approved NHS supplier for over 10 years. We currently supply over 50% of UK NHS trusts with their clinical waste ties.

As specialists in the Healthcare sector, Talisman know how vital it is for hospitals to secure their hazardous clinical waste and provide an audit trail for traceability purposes. We, therefore, offer a range of ties designed to act as clinical waste tags.

As an added benefit, Talisman have developed our own online audit trail system. Customers can use this free service to electronically assign and track tags anywhere within their site.
